Body
WHEREAS, New Directions Behavioral Health (NDBH) provided employee assistance to County Employees beginning in 2004; and,

WHEREAS, this program was approved by Resolution 14748, dated October 6, 2003; and approved for continuation for 2005 for Jackson County employees by Resolution 15190, dated October 12, 2004; and,

WHEREAS, the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri desires to include 157 of its employees in the program as funded by the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive and New Directions Behavioral Health (NDBH) are in agreement with the inclusion of the Circuit Court employees as funded by the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, New Directions Behavioral Health (NDBH) will provide up to 6 face to face counseling sessions, a live 24/7 help line, an interactive web site, up to 10 hours of on-site training, up to 10 hours of on-site critical incident crisis intervention, and unlimited telephonic management consultation to 1350 County and 157 Circuit Court employees; and,

WHEREAS, the County's health insurance brokers, CBIZ and the McDaniel Hazley Group, have previously recommended that the County continue to offer the New Directions Behavioral Health (NDBH) Employee Assistance Program to County employees at the following rate for the 2005 plan year:
