Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids Electronic Solicitation No. BB200333 for the furnishing of water testing service for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Pace Analytical Service, Inc. of Lenexa, KS; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Pace Analytical Service, Inc., of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
