Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded a grant in the amount of $13,394.00 by the Office of State Courts Administrator for the Parent Education Training program, for the period of December 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to provide suitable training space and modern training equipment for court mandated parent and child programs that build cooperative parenting and coping competencies; and,
WHEREAS, the grant does not require local matching funds; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the fund balance of the 2010 Grant Fund:
