Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200242 for the printing of inmate identification cards for use by the Department of Corrections; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only two responsive bids thereon bids from the following:

Vendor Per Thousand Price
Custom Forms, Inc. $378.25
St. Louis, MO

Service Printing $388.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO


and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Service Printing of Kansas City, Missouri, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
