Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution #13928, dated December 10, 2001, the Legislature authorized a contract with Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, among other agencies, to provide anti-drug treatment and rehabilitation services for the purpose of treating users of illegal drugs, at a cost to the County not to exceed $16,078.44; and,

WHEREAS, the 12th Street Heritage Corporation has submitted a proposal for 2002 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund for the purpose of providing services for the prevention of illegal drug use and drug-related offenses, in the amount of $12,500.00; and,

WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney and COMBAT Commission have reviewed the proposal submitted by 12th Street Heritage Corporation and recommend an addendum to the agreement with Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center to subcontract with 12th Street Heritage Corporation to provide these services; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to cover the costs of funding this request; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
