WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to cover the Family Court Division's Child Protection Center grant, funded by the Missouri Division of Department of Social Services, Family Services; and,

WHEREAS, this grant project reduces the trauma of the investigation process to the child and improves the multi-disciplinary team approach to child sexual and physical abuse; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2004 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
