WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Bonehill Culvert Replacement, Project No. 2333, to acquire a right-of-way and temporary construction easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of certain property owners, L. Alan and Johnita L. Dowhower, in the amount of $725.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way and temporary construction easement, and to settle the claim for damages and have executed these conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $725.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $725.00 in the names of L. Alan and Johnita L. Dowhower, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
