Body
WHEREAS, various departments have a need temporary staffing; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the award of the contract for purchase to Robert Half International Inc. of Menlo Park, CA, under the terms and conditions of H-GACBuy Contract TS06-21 and MARC ILA #04-1443, an existing competitively bid government contract; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Directors of Public Works and Finance and Purchasing recommend the award under the existing competitively bid government contract for the reason that this will allow the County to take advantage of significant discounts offered to larger entities; now therefore,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate the County to pay any specific amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases being subject to annual appropriation, with estimated spending for 2024 to be $250,000.00; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have been made in t...
