Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 154-98 for the furnishing of a skid steer loader for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon bids from the following:

and,

WHEREAS, the acquisition of this new loader has rendered an existing 1962 Clark Michigan Loader, Model DEL 75A as surplus property; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to 1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of this loader by way of trade-in; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing loader be and hereby is declared surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by way of trade-in.
