Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11623, dated February 24, 1997, the County Executive was authorized to execute a Utility Agreement with Kansas City Power and Light Co. for required distribution line relocation in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Blvd. Project, No. 2075-3; and,
WHEREAS, it has become necessary that Kansas City Power and Light Co. install extra tall poles and drill holes in solid rock during construction to allow completion of the work; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Addendum No. 1 to the Utility Agreement is hereby approved, and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the Addendum on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Utility Agreement and Addendum No. 1 thereto.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
