BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Body
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the AG (Agricultural) and RE (Residential Estates) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RE, a 3.50? tract of land located at 10100 S. Perdue Road in Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:
Description: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 33, Township 48,Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 33,
Township 48, Range 30; thence North 88 degrees 34 minutes 55 seconds West, a
distance of 500 feet, along the South line of said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter; thence North 01 degrees 57 minutes 58 seconds East, a distance of 332.89
feet; thence South 88 degrees 37 minutes 17 seconds East, a distance of 500 feet;
thence South 01 degrees 57 minutes 59 seconds West, a distance of 333.23 feet to the
Point of Beginning, except that part in Perdue Road.



Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Kinney Family Irrevocable Trust, (RZ-2024-684), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on November 21, 2024, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
