Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance 6054, passed on March 3, 2026, was a request for a conditional use permit for a particular 48.09? acre tract, commonly known as 33800 East Hammond Road; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 6054 did not contain the correct required conditions for the property under the conditional use permit requested; and,
WHEREAS, to enact the requested and approved conditional use permit, the previous ordinance must be rescinded and a new one approved; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that Ordinance 6054 is hereby rescinded and held as void; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. A conditional use permit is hereby requested for continuous operation of a horse boarding facility as to a 48.09? acre tract, commonly known as 33800 East Hammond Road, and legally described as follows:
Description: The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 48, Range 30, except all that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 48, Range 30, described as follows: Commencing at the East Quarter corner of said Section 35; thence South 02 degrees 15 minutes 18 seconds West, along the East line of said Section 35, a distance of 120.00 feet; thence South 58 degrees 37 minutes 09 seconds West, a distance of 1086.90 feet; thence North 88 degrees 11 minutes 23 seconds West and parallel to the North line of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 35, a distance of 400.00 feet to a point on the West line of the Northeast Quarte...
