A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, in connection with the Little Blue Trace Park, for construction of a water transmission line.

INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lee's Summit has submitted a request to construct a water transmission line across the Little Blue Trace; and,
WHEREAS, the County has determined that construction of the water line will have no adverse effect to the Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has reviewed and approved the project; and,
WHEREAS, to effect this construction, the County and the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, have negotiated the attached agreement, at no cost to the County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
