Body
WHEREAS, the Office Services Section, Parks and Recreation Department, and Recorder of Deeds Department have certain surplus vehicles and forklifts that have become obsolete, further described and itemized in the lists attached hereto marked as Exhibits A, B, and C; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the property within the Office Services Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and Records Department, further described and itemized in Exhibits A, B, and C, be and hereby is declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by auction or otherwise, pursuant to chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
