Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3791, dated July 24, 2006, Jackson County was awarded the 2006 Justice Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice for the Jackson County Drug Court; and,
WHEREAS, section 6 of the Interlocal Agreement authorizes funding for the Drug Court; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to fund the salaries of the Drug Court employees pursuant to the Interlocal Agreement, and for the purchase of computers and computer- related hardware and software; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
