WHEREAS, the North West Communities Development Corporation has awarded a grant to the Family Court Division of the Circuit Court for its Success Court Program for July 1, 2009 through May 30, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, this program addresses the problem of unexcused absences of student probationers and assesses truancy cases of students in general; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of the 2009 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
