Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15918, dated June 19, 2006, the County did award a contract for the construction of North-South Liggett Road Project, No. 3053, to Amino Brothers Company, Inc., of Kansas City, KS, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $665,017.50; and,
WHEREAS, the project is now complete and under budget by $27,112.10; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been accepted by the Director of Public Works, such that final payment is now due and owing; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make final payment on the contract in the amount of $500.00 and unencumber the contract balance of $27,112.10.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
