IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a "Consolidated Tax Billing and Collection Agreement" with the City of Levasy, Missouri. Intro RESOLUTION #11854, August 11, 1997 INTRODUCED BY John Patrick Burnett, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the County and City of Levasy desire to provide for consolidated billing and collection services for property taxes within the City of Levasy by having the County bill and collect the City of Levasy's taxes along with the other taxes billed and collected by the County; and, WHEREAS, the attached "Consolidation Tax Billing and Collection Agreement" adequately sets out the rights and obligations of the parties; and, WHEREAS, this Agreement is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the County; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Consolidated Tax Billing and Collection Agreement with the City of Levasy, Missouri. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
