Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Request for Proposals No. 139-97 for the furnishing of a tax assessment software package for use by the Assessment and Collection Departments; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three proposals thereon, proposals from the following:

VENDOR BASE PROPOSAL

CPS $1,270,000.00
Dallas, TX

Asix Corp. $1,310,000.00
Bellevue, WA

Eden Systems $1,610,000.00
Seattle, WA

and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Asix Corporation of Bellevue, WA, for the reason that its has submitted the lowest and best proposal meeting specifications, as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that funds sufficient to make such payments are included in the then current annual budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
