Body
WHEREAS, Joe Wilson has worked for the Public Works Department for the last five years; and,
WHEREAS, as an automobile/equipment technician, Mr. Wilson has serviced all types of vehicles and equipment; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has a reputation among his co-workers for being able to fix any mechanical problem; and,
WHEREAS, he is also known as a person who gets along with everyone and a good, steady, very dependable worker; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson plans to enjoy his pastimes of hunting and fishing in his retirement; and,
WHEREAS, a retirement luncheon is being held in Mr. Wilson's honor on October 9 at Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson will be greatly missed by his friends and co- workers at the Public Works Department; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Joe Wilson on his retirement from the Public Works Department and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
