Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3804, dated September 11, 2006, the Legislature did appropriate $39,242.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Grant Fund to cover the Family Court Division's Child Protection Center (CPC) - Health Care Foundation grant received from the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City for the period August 20, 2006, to August 19, 2007; and,

WHEREAS, due to an administrative error, it is necessary to amend the grant period to October 13, 2006 to June 30, 2007, as outlined in the attached letter from the Health Care Foundation dated November 2, 2006; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the grant period of the Child Protection Center (CPC) - Health Care Foundation grant received from the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City be amended to reflect the period of October 13, 2006, to June 30, 2007; and,


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of Ordinance 3804, dated September 11, 2006, that conveys the grant period as August 20, 2006, to August 19, 2007, be and hereby is rescinded.




Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
