BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RS" (Residential Suburban) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 30,000 square foot tract of land is generally located less than « mile north of US 40 Hwy. (Westbound lane) on the east side of Woods Chapel Road and more specifically described as Beginning at a point 30 feet East and 485.94 feet South along the East right of way line of Woods Chapel Road of the Northwest corner of the East « of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 35, Township 49, Range 31, in Blue Springs, JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI; thence East a distance of 200 feet to a point; thence South a distance of 150 feet to a point; thence West and parallel with the center line of said Section 35, a distance of 200 feet to a point on the East right of way line of Woods Chapel Road; thence North along said right of way 150 feet to the point of beginning, aka 404 SW Woods Chapel Road.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Richard Bryant (RZ-97-077), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 21, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and...
