BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RS" (Residential Suburban) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 30,000 square foot tract of land is generally located less than « mile north of US 40 Hwy. (Westbound lane) on the east side of Woods Chapel Road and more specifically described as Beginning at a point 30 feet East and 485.94 feet South along the East right of way line of Woods Chapel Road of the Northwest corner of the East « of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 35, Township 49, Range 31, in Blue Springs, JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI; thence East a distance of 200 feet to a point; thence South a distance of 150 feet to a point; thence West and parallel with the center line of said Section 35, a distance of 200 feet to a point on the East right of way line of Woods Chapel Road; thence North along said right of way 150 feet to the point of beginning, aka 404 SW Woods Chapel Road.

The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Richard Bryant (RZ-97-077), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 21, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and...
