Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 59-00 for the furnishing of recycled toner cartridges and donar film, for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in the estimated awards for the respective vendors as follows:
VENDOR ESTIMATED AWARD

Columbia Business Systems $12,126.85
Raytown, MO

Best Computer Supplies $3,437.50
Reno, NV

therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
