WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2913 dated April 12, 1999, the County Legislature authorized the County Executive to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Board of Police Commissioners for the Midwest H.I.D.T.A. Kansas City Metropolitan Enforcement Initiative Task Force; and,
WHEREAS, the parties now desire to modify certain terms of the agreement, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, the attached First Addendum to Memorandum of Understanding provides a suitable mechanism by which to implement the understanding of the parties; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2000 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
