Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 16 ± acre tract of land approximately 1/4 ± mile east of Missouri 7 Highway on the south side of Flynn Road and specifically described as:

All that part of Lot 2 of the Southwest Quarter of Fractional Section 7, Township 49 North, Range 30 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, all in Jackson County, Missouri and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 2 of said Southwest Quarter; thence South 86?25'47" East along the North line of said Lot 2, a distance of 560.21 feet; thence South 01?44'59" West, a distance of 1328.62 feet; thence North 86?39'01" West, a distance of 531.21 feet to a point on the West line of said Lot 2; thence North 02?06'05" East along said West line, a distance of 1329.80 feet to the point of Beginning, aka 26001and 26103 E. Flynn Road.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Billy Cox, Jr.( RZ-2002-287), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on December 19, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
