Body
WHEREAS, by Resolutions 20725 and 20726, both dated July 19, 2021, the Legislature did authorize two contracts relating to needed capital improvements at the downtown courthouse, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $1,173,414.00; and,
WHEREAS, since the adoption of these Resolutions, the Legislature has determined that the County's ability to track expenses for these two projects would be improved if new, separate expenditure accounts were established for each project; and,
WHEREAS, in order to establish the new accounts, a transfer is necessary; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to revise the revenue certificates on the contracts authorized by Resolutions 20725 and 20726 to make them consistent with the intent of this Resolution.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
