Body
WHEREAS, the Legislature has appointed former Chief Deputy Auditor Crissy Wooderson as the County's new Legislative Auditor, to replace former Legislative Auditor Gary Panethiere; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Wooderson's appointment leaves a vacancy in the office of Chief Deputy Auditor; and,
WHEREAS, current Assistant Auditor Paul Arena is well-qualified for the position of Chief Deputy Auditor; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Wooderson has advised the Legislature of her intention to promote Mr. Arena to the position of Chief Deputy Auditor and has requested the Legislature's confirmation of this appointment pursuant to section 260.3a of the Jackson County Code; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of Paul Arena as Chief Deputy Auditor.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
