Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has requested $15,000.00 in funds for his 1995 Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended the funding of this program; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to fund this program; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
