WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2636 dated February 10, 1997, $78,081.00 was appropriated from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Criminal Justice Fund to cover the Pre-Trial Services Program; and,

WHEREAS, it is appropriate that these funds be returned to the General Fund as the positions funded by Ordinance 2636 are no longer needed for the Pre-Trial Services Program; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriations from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 General Fund and 1997 Anti- Drug Sales Tax Fund be made to cover the return of three positions from the Pre-Trial Services Program to the Corrections Department:
