Body
WHEREAS, Troy Nash has been named Vice President and Principal of Zimmer Real Estate Services of Kansas City, MO; and,
WHEREAS, Troy Nash is an attorney and former member of the Kansas City, Missouri City Council, having served on council from 1999 to 2007; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Nash currently serves on the Kansas City Regional Board of Directors of Arvest Bank and on the Board of Directors of People-to-People International; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Nash, led by his late mother's determination and perseverance, developed a sense of purpose and personal responsibility that has guided him through his life; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Nash is a veteran of the United States Air Force, holds a bachelor of science in economics from Wesley College, a masters of arts in political science and economics, a master's of business administration, and juris doctor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Nash will graduate in October with a doctorate in education from St. Louis University, with a focused on helping children left behind in low performing and unaccredited school districts; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby expresses its congratulations to Troy Nash upon the occasion of being named Vice President and Principal of Zimmer Real Estate Services.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
