BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located south of Stony Point School Road and east of Stony Point Road lying in part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 48, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of said Quarter Quarter Section 66 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof; thence East along said North line 660 feet; thence South 660 feet; thence West 660 feet to a point 66 feet East of the West line of said Quarter Quarter Section; thence North 660 feet to the point of beginning, Except that part in Stony Point School Road.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Veldheer (RZ-2003-317), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 21, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
