WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 4-95 for the furnishing of urinalysis testing for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR BID (Per Test) Health Productivity Systems $5.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Baptist Medical Center $8.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Clinical Reference Laboratory $11.00 Lenexa, KS
and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Health Productivity Systems of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefo e,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
