A RESOLUTION congratulating Philip A. Kocher for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Body
WHEREAS, Philip A. Kocher, son of Richard and Rosemary Kocher of Kansas City, has attained the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, Philip is a junior at Lincoln College Preparatory Academy; and,
WHEREAS, in recognition of this high achievement , Philip will have his Eagle Scout Court of Honor with Troop 25, on Saturday, October 24, at the Troost Midtown Community Center; and,
WHEREAS, Philip has dedicated eight years to scouting, and has held key positions in his troop including quartermaster, scribe, patrol leader, and senior patrol leader; and,
WHEREAS, he has also received 45 merit badges and has received the Honor Camper and Honor Scout awards; and,
WHEREAS, Philip is the 100th Eagle Scout of Troop 25, sponsored by St. Francis Xavier parish, in its 67 years of service to the youth; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Philip A. Kocher for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
