Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4441, dated August 27, 2012, the Legislature did authorize the execution of an agreement with the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) to conduct a joint federal drug investigation; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 4441 also authorized the appropriation of overtime costs incurred by the Jackson County Drug Task Force (JCDTF) that were reimbursed by the OCDETF, in the amount of $6,250.00; and,
WHEREAS, the JCDTF has received additional reimbursement of overtime funds related to this joint federal drug investigation, in the amount of $5,850.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
