Body
WHEREAS, Wilbur E. Caldwell is retiring from barbering, a career spanning 50 years and notably these last 48 years at the Colonial Barbershop, 316 E. 51st, Kansas City, Missouri, at the young age of 75; and,
WHEREAS, Wilbur served his country from 1950-51 in the Korean War; and,
WHEREAS, Wilbur is an avid University of Missouri-Kansas City basketball fan; and,
WHEREAS, Wilbur enjoyed his 50 year barbering career as a devoted family man to his wife, Donna (deceased 1990), daughter Tonya, and grandchildren Romia and Gunther; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Wilbur E. Caldwell on his retirement and wishes him success and enjoyment in all of his future endeavors.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
