Body
WHEREAS, COMBAT staff has reviewed requests for County funding from municipalities in Jackson County; and,

WHEREAS, COMBAT staff and the Prosecuting Attorney have recommended these programs be funded in the following amounts:
MUNICIPALITY ALLOCATION
City of Blue Springs $136,806.00
City of Grain Valley 28,611.00
City of Grandview 41,875.00
City of Independence 299,051.00
City of Kansas City 383,679.00
City of Lee's Summit 168,430.00
City of Oak Grove 28,842.00

TOTAL $1,087,294.00
and,
WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 11, 2007, the COMBAT Commission endorsed the staff's recommendations; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute contracts with the cities of Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Grandview, Independence, Kansas City, and Oak Grove at a total cost to the County not to exceed $1,087,294.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
