Body
WHEREAS, the City of Independence, MO, has requested an easement in connection with the Little Blue Trace Park, for the purpose of installing and maintaining a storm sewer on the Little Blue Trace Park property adjacent to I-470's crossing of the Little Blue River; and,
WHEREAS, a standard fee of $852.00 will be assessed and collected by the County; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, has reviewed and approved the easement; and,
WHEREAS, to grant this easement, the Director of Parks and Recreation and City of Independence have negotiated the attached Agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the easement be approved, and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached easement agreement with the City of Independence.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
