A RESOLUTION declaring certain property within the Public Works Department as surplus personal property and authorizing its disposal.

Body

WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has certain surplus vehicles, tractors, and miscellaneous items of equipment that have become obsolete, further described and itemized in the lists attached hereto marked as Exhibits A, B, and C; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the property within the Public Works Department, further described and itemized in Exhibits A, B, and C, be and hereby is declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
