BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Legal Description:
Description: A 60 ñ tract of land is generally located 3/4 of a mile east of Blackwell Road on the south side of Colbern Road and is more specifically described as all that part of the east « of the southeast 1/4 of Section 26, Township 48, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri beginning at the northeast corner of the southeast 1/4 of said Section 26; thence N 84 28' 03" W, 1324.05 ft. to the NW Corner of the east « of the SE 1/4 of said Section 26; thence S 05 25' 25" W, along the west line of the east « of the SE 1/4 of said Section 26, 1989.32 ft.; thence S 84 59' 16" E, 1321.62 ft. to a point on the east line of the SE 1/4 of said Section 26; thence N 05 29' 42" E, 1977.32 ft. to the point of beginning.



Section 2. The preliminary plat "Bellaire Estates," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved.

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of George Ward (RZ-98-089), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 15, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson C...
