Body
WHEREAS, Resolution 11003, dated October 23, 1995, authorized the Prosecuting Attorney to execute addenda to agreements with certain organizations which engage in community crime prevention activities for the purpose of preventing illegal drug use and drug-related offenses, at a total cost to the County of $137,547.50; and,

WHEREAS, it is necessary to partially rescind Resolution 11003 as to the $2,500 addendum to the agreement with 49/63 Neighborhood Coalition, and to authorize the Prosecuting Attorney to execute a Second Addendum to Agreement, as a First Addendum already exists, and to increase the total amount of the agreement by an additional $1,000.00 for a new total additional amount to be allocated to 49/63 Neighborhood Coalition of $3,500.00 under the Second Addendum; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Prosecuting Attorney be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Second Addendum to Agreement with 49/63 Neighborhood Coalition, for the purpose of preventing drug and drug-related offenses; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement and all addenda thereto.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
