Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks + Rec recommends a two-week Facebook Accelerator contest in conjunction with seven Entercom Communications Corporation radio stations to create awareness and promotion of Jackson County Parks + Rec, at a cost to the County not to exceed $1,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, the attached agreement with Entercom includes indemnification language that requires the approval of the Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, execution of the attached Agreement for the Facebook Accelerator contest with Entercom Communications Corporation is in the best interests of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Agreement with Entercom Communications Corporation, at a cost to the County not to exceed $1,500.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
