Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3375, dated June 9, 2003, the Legislature did accept a grant in the amount of $80,079.00 from its Heart of America United Way for the Prosecuting Attorney's Kidsafe Program, which pays 75% of the salary of an assistant prosecuting attorney to work in partnership with numerous community organizations to reduce child abuse and neglect and prevent juvenile delinquency in Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the General Fund is necessary to cover salaries in connection with this grant program for the remainder of 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer made within the 2004 General Fund:
