A RESOLUTION awarding a contract for the furnishing of two tractor-mounted spreaders and one turbine blower to Van Wall Equipment of Olathe, KS, a contract for the furnishing of one top dresser and one Cushman-mounted spreader to Kansas Golf & Turf of Wichita, KS, and a contract for the furnishing of one rough mower to Professional Turf Products of Overland Park, KS, all for use by the Parks and Recreation Department, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB20119, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $42,272.49, and declaring certain property unusable and obsolete and to be used as trade-ins.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a need for equipment for grounds maintenance at the County's Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals for this equipment under Electronic Solicitation No. BB20119; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-five notification were distributed and four responses were received; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following vendors:
