Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 12107, dated March 16, 1998, enter into a contract with CW Luebbert Construction of Blue Springs, MO, in the amount of $199,899.00, for the 1998 Culvert Replacement, Phase I, Project No. 2373; and,

WHEREAS, proposed Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust various plan quantities to as-built quantities, and said change order will result in an decrease in the amount of $3,706.96; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make final payment on the contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to release the encumbrance on the contract balance of $3,706.96.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
