Body
WHEREAS, the County desires to purchase two 15-passenger window vans from Raytown Dodge of Raytown, MO and one passenger mini-van from Jack Miller Automotive Group of Kansas City, MO, for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing pursuant to Section 1040.04 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, recommends the purchases from Raytown Dodge of Raytown, MO, and Jack Miller Automotive Group of Kansas City, MO, under the Mid-America Council of Public Purchasing's Joint Governmental Fleet Bid, an existing Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS government contract; and,

WHEREAS, Section 1064.00, Jackson County Code, 1984 requires, that for any such purchase in excess of $5,000, the Director of Purchasing shall submit the purchase to the County Legislature for approval; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the purchase under the existing government contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the purchase; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payments on the contracts thereby made...Atto...
