Body
WHEREAS, the Sparrow Community Development Corporation's Center City Neighborhood Group program is designed to develop organized treatment programs, create activities for at-risk youth, and assist the homeless by networking with other agencies; and,
WHEREAS, the Sparrow Community Development Corporation has received a grant from Christ Temple Church for this program, in the amount of $7,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a local match in the amount of $7,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Sparrow Community Development Corporation has requested anti-drug sales tax funds in the amount of $7,500.00 to provide the required local match for this program; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has reviewed this request and recommends funding in the amount of $7,500.00 from his grant match account; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached Agreement with the Sparrow Community Development Corporation; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
