AN ORDINANCE appropriating $880.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2013 Park Fund in acceptance of a donation in memory of Roy McClure, to be used for the benefit of Missouri Town 1855.

Body
WHEREAS, the late Roy McClure was a long-time volunteer and supporter of Missouri Town 1855; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. McClure passed away in November 2012, and his friends have donated funds in the amount of $880.00 in his memory to be used for the benefit of Missouri Town; and,
WHEREAS, the donated funds will be used to install a bench with concrete pad and commemorative plaque; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the donated funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and is hereby made:
