Body
WHEREAS, under a federal research grant the University of Maryland and the University of Virginia are conducting a research project involving drug treatment courts; and,
WHEREAS, the eCourt Project includes developing and pilot testing an information management system to be used by drug treatment courts for monitoring individual clients and program performance, as well as general information management; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute the attached Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Maryland and the University of Virginia for its eCourt Project, as approved by the County Counselor.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
