Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Unified Development Code of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "GB" (General Business Planned Development) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District GB a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 1 ± acre lot generally located ½ mile west of Burnley Road on the north side of U.S. Highway 24 and more legally described as Lot 2, Brashears Acres, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri lying in the southeast quarter of Section 16, Township 50, Range 30 aka 30008 E. 24 Highway.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Cory Matt (RZ-2001-253), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 20, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
