Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposals No. 6-03 for a license to provide concessions services at the Frank White, Jr., and 140th and Holmes Blue River Softball Complexes; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two responses thereon in compliance with the specifications of the RFP, responses from the following:
BIDDER FEE (For full season excluding
unspecified tournaments)
J. E. Gross Concessions $26,000
Blue Springs, MO
Springer Food Service $24,700
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has recommended that award be made to J. E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the highest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a license to provide concessions services at the Frank White, Jr., and 140th and Holmes Blue River Softball Complexes is awarded to J. E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
